WUTTO Nordhorn Brettchen Open 2015 at 25./26.04.2015

Tournament Information

Name of Tournament: WUTTO Nordhorn Brettchen Open 2015

Even if the tournament includes not only hardbat classes but also a clickball class, we didn't want to change the well-known tournament name. Perhaps "Nordhorn Classic Open" would fit better now.
Organizer: SV Vorwärts Nordhorn

The tournament, being started 2001 by SV Eintracht Nordhorn and organized by TTC Eintracht Nordhorn after the fusion with TTC Nordhorn from 2008 until 2012, is organized since 2013 by SV Vorwärts Nordhorn. The Nordhorn table tennis players have moved completely to this club in summer of 2012. Organization and venue is the same as before, just the club's name has changed.

Hardbat laws: The laws of modern hardbat table tennis and the laws of WUTTO (www.wutto.org) will be applied:

All players must use the uniform hardbat rackets being provided at the table. That will be the TSP Picco woods (with straight, anatomical or concave grip) with TSP Miracle rubbers (short pimples out without sponge) on both sides that have been the loaner hardbats at the previous NBO tournaments. Private rackets are not allowed.

Before each change of ends every player puts the racket used previously to his half of the table. After the change, he uses the bat with which his opponent has played before.
Clickball laws: The laws of the World Championship of Ping Pong will be applied:

All players must use the official WCPP bats (wood: Dunlop/sandpaper: 3M) being provided at the table. In these the wood is coated on both sides with a thin layer of fine light blue sandpaper with the same color. Private rackets are not allowed.

Before each change of ends every player puts the racket used previously to his half of the table. After the change, he uses the bat with which his opponent has played before.

It is played with best of three games to 15 points. Each game is finished when the first player has scored 15 points. In the final game ends change when the first player has scored seven points.

Each player once per match has the option to take a double-point ball. This must be at his own serve and before he has reached 13 points in this game. The directly following rally is played with a white ball. If this rally is won by the server he gets two points. Otherwise, the opponent gets one point. Counting and change of service will remain unaffected. The server always has two services one by one.
